R. v. K.S. – August 2023
Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm
Our client was alleged to have driven more than 100 km/h through residential streets and attempted to evade police. Even after a spike strip deflated multiple tires, our client was alleged to have attempted to hide his vehicle and then ram a police car when confronted, causing bodily harm to the officer. Our client underwent an intensive residential treatment program to address underlying drug issues but our lawyers negotiated with Crown counsel to secure a non-custodial sentence.
