R. v. [Redacted] – December 2023

Our client was charged with sexual assault after a date. The matter proceeded to trial where our lawyers cross examined the complaint and by the end of our questioning, the judge found that there were significant concerns about the reliability of her claims. Our questioning brought up inconsistencies about the complainant’s timeline, her recollection of events and whether the encounter was actually non-consensual.
