R. v. K.L. – May 2021

Police responded to a vehicle accident and followed our client who was taken to hospital. Police seized a blood sample from the hospital hoping to use it as evidence against our client. We successfully applied to a court for the destruction of that blood sample on grounds that the police held it beyond their lawful authority.
