R. v. I.N. – November 2021
Possession of Child Pornography
Our client was alleged to be watching child pornography while inside a parked vehicle. Police attended and seized the laptop, and our client provided a confession to the police. We successfully argued that the confession was obtained in an improper manner and that the police held onto the laptop unlawfully and did not have the authority to search it when they did. We negotiated a non-criminal plea.
