R. v. R.A. – January 2024
Impaired Driving
Our client was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle where he struck a telephone pole that resulted in wires across the roadway. Our lawyers highlighted weaknesses in the Crown’s case and negotiated a resolution to a plea under the Motor Vehicle Act. Specifically, we avoided our client needing to serve an automatic one year driving prohibition.
Result: No Criminal Record and No Driving Prohibition
