Impaired Driving Case Study: Crown Agrees to Plea Deal to a Lesser Offence
Our client was found intoxicated and slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle parked in a residential area. We argued to Crown that there was no evidence of driving and even though he was in the driver seat, there was other evidence to suggest that he did not have care of control of the vehicle. Crown agreed to a plea to a lesser offence under the Motor Vehicle Act.
Result: No criminal record and no driving prohibition
