R. v. S.D. – March 2024

Our client was the passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over by the police. He was eventually searched and found to possess drugs that were packaged in a manner that suggested drug trafficking. At trial, our lawyers cross examined the cop and established that he didn’t have a valid reason to arrest and search our client. We were prepared to return to court to argue the exclusion of the evidence of those drugs, but the Crown dropped the charges before that happened.
