R. v. Y.S.D – February 2024

Our client was convicted of trafficking in fentanyl after a hard fought trial. At sentencing, our lawyers established that our client had moved away from the drug trade and become a pro-social individuals in the intervening three years since the date of the offence. The judge at sentence granted a Conditional Sentence Order, meaning that our client did not serve any jail time, despite the sentencing range for this type of offence being 18 to 36 months.
