R. v. J.D. – May 2023

Our client was charged with dangerous driving causing death after falling asleep while driving. We argued to Crown counsel that our client had made a tragic mistake but that there was no evidence that he was impaired or distracted in his driving. After extensive discussions Crown agreed to ask the Court for a conditional sentence order.
