R. v. R.B. – October 2022

Our client was suspected by the police of trying to sell his firearms to support a drug habit. Police proceeded with an application to the court to place our client on a 5-year firearms prohibition and seize his firearms. We convinced Crown that the original information the police received was incorrect and that our client was successfully managing his addiction issues and was not a danger to himself or society. Crown dropped the firearms application.
