Our client received a 90 day driving prohibition after failing a roadside breathalyzer test.  While prohibited, our client was pulled over by an unmarked police car.  Our client was arrested and his vehicle impounded for 7 days.  A conviction for Driving While Prohibited would result in an automatic further 1 year driving prohibition.  Our client worked for a courier company and that would cost him his job.  We convinced the Crown to allow our client to plead guilty to Driving Without a License instead.  He received a fine and a restriction of his right to drive that allowed him to still drive for work purposes.

RESULT:  reduced plea, no criminal record, no loss of employment
