Our client was charged under section 266 of Criminal Code committing assault in a domestic abuse case after a witness saw our client pull someone out of a car and throw them to the ground. Our counsel gathered evidence to support our client’s version of what happened as well as proof of his attendance at counselling. Crown counsel agreed to drop the criminal charge. Our client was left without having to go to trial and no criminal record.
