Our client was charged with Assault with a Weapon when she came after her husband with a hatchet accusing him of cheating on her. We adjourned the court case for over a year to allow our client to complete counselling and resolve the issues in the relationship. At that point, the Crown finally agreed to resolve the matter with a Peace Bond and drop the criminal charges against our client.
RESULT: Peace Bond, No criminal record or conviction
