Sicotte and Henry

On the trial date, the Prosecutor applied to adjourn the trial as the Crown's main witness failed to show up.  We strongly opposed any adjournment application arguing that our client's rights would be significantly prejudiced and she would suffer additional emotional and financial stress.  The judge refused the adjournment application.  The Prosecutor directed a Stay of Proceedings.
